Paddleboarders on the Bantam River at White Memorial Foundation and Conservation Center in Litchfield County, Connecticut. White Memorial, located in the Berkshire Mountain foothills, was created in 1913 by Alain White and his siter May. It comprises 4,000 acres of fields, waters, woodlands and 40 miles of trails, a museum, campground, boating and meeting houses for education. It attracts thousands of visitors each year.
